Hi Raphael. So nice to read an interesting blog for a change. You really have gone off the edge with loving Asia. I thought I was bad. Your experiences seem fascinating. How would ever guess that you would love Asia and have such wonderful and varied experiences, including being the godmother to a "girl." If she ever knew!!!!! What fun and adventure. You are doing the things I would love to do and I don't have much more time to do it in. My mom is still (at 94) up and running, so Allen and I can't continuing spending Richard's inheritance. I really don't want to leave him too much, it will go to his head, but we now think it (at least for a short time) not feasible to travel together. So Allen is leaving for two months and I am just staying home doing my newsletter every month and in total envy of you.

The exciting part of this year is that a friend from Thailand has "hired" Aek and is paying him every month so there is a record, and helping him fill out papers for his visa. I have a new friend in the top of the US State Dept who is arranging the visa from BKK. and another friend (a gorgeous secret service guy) who is handling the immigration at LAX so it looks like Aek will be able to come to PS. wow. Never thought it would be possible. So Poch also will be here on August 18th for a week and then Aek will meet Allen in Taiwan and come to LA with him. Our fingers are crossed that something won't happen in the world with numb nuts Bush between now and then but you just don't know. What a great time to out of America. This is like nothing like we would ever have guessed in this country. But that is another story and better not discussed.

We are back to Long Beach for our trade show on August 1-4 and staying in Bill and Sharon's new home at beach level. Called the "Beach Mansion" they even have an elevator now so we don't have to climb stairs to get to the parking level. Wow

Well enjoy and continue to take a lot of pics. I am so envious. What a great adventure. Enjoy it.

Hugs

Heya Boss,
I'm hoping to see you on the 14th when you're back for the last time to Singapore?? Get together with the rest@your place?? I'm outta here sooner than you can think too. Glad that you're doing well with your diving n all. Wishing you all the best with your future assignments and thanks to you chef, I have a better understanding of the things we do here on earth. The time that you were here meant alot to some of us, just a lil' sad that you didn't have a chance to explain it and say goodbyes to some of us. But certainly, you changed some of our lifes and you swayed our conventional way of thinking and responding to unusual things with your ever so charming presence and we will definitely remember you as the person you are, such a joy. And last but not least, cheers!!(pardon me inglish)

Lots of love from Singapore,
Ian (Headless Barman).<!-- X-spaminator-passed: IP check --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: email check --><!-- X-spaminator-strike: short field, 1 --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: author check --><!-- X-spaminator-strike: empty field - author url, 1 --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: author url --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: comment body -->
